Rainy Day

Today is a rainy day . Rain Rain Rain ... But I have come to  the office or you can say in my research lab . I am the only one in the lab currently . After a long time I am writing my blog . After a long struggle of seven years I have got my PhD studentship . I am happy . New challenges . New opportunities . The environment has changed . I have got new machine that is Latitude 3440 . New books all from foreign publishers ... And off course new responsibilities . Durga puja is coming . It is a nice time for all Bengalis . But I do not believe in God . But it is a enjoyable season for all of us . Pandles are taking their shapes . Born and brought up in Kolkata , So I know how Kolkata celebrates its Puja days . Already I have new shirts and trousers . I do not prefer jeans . This puja I will stay at Kolkata unlike previous year ( then I visited Nepal with my parents ) . Also I have to remember there is project deadline 5 the Oct 2014 . I have to submit 38 files all translated from English to Bengali . This is called life . There is task , celebration , friends , family . And you have give time to each of them . Every one is important in your life . 

Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore is an international poet . He is such a great poet you can't imagine . He has written songs , stories , poems , novels etc . He has depicted each and every picture of Bengali life's into words . He is a poet of next door . Our life is full of emotions -- happiness , sadness , anger , joy , each and every emotion has been characterized in his written documents . He is a poet of internal appeal of international standards . Today and also in  future his appeal will be the same . His teachings , his lessons are also valid today and that will be valid for next centuries . One day celebration of Rabindra Jayanti is not enough for it . You have to remember his teaching every day starting from Morning to Night . He was ahead of his time . His thinking , his emotions were quite ahead of his time . He is relevant today and will be relevant for next centuries . Prem ( Love ) , Puja ( Worship ) , Prakiti ( Nature ) -- these are some categories of his song / poems etc . Naibedya ( Offerings ) is one of such devotional example .

You are the best ....

You are the best in some quality . May be you are not good at cooking or dancing , but you may be best in study . Each and every people can not be best in all qualities . They may fail in doing something but that does not mean they are bad in all qualities .. That is a misconception . If a person fails in examination that does not mean he or she is totally useless , he or she may be engaged in doing some other activities . My point is that every people has some inner quality in which he or she is best in that quality . Some are good in cooking , some are good in singing , some are good at play ground and some are good in class rooms or coaching centers . when people say you are useless that means you are useless according to his choice , but not you are totally useless , you may have some hidden talent . This world is the residence of many different kinds of people , some of them have chosen teaching as their career , some of them have chosen singing or dancing or cooking as their corresponding career . They are all best in their corresponding career . So do not be disappointed if you fail in semester exams or some entrance tests , you may be highly qualified in some other activities . Have faith in yourself , and proceed forward . You are the best ...

But one thing whatever the career you have chosen , totally focus on that career . Try to achieve best position in that career . Do not neglect any small issues . Try to solve all the problems with good performance and with good conduct . That is the vital point achieving best position in any organization . Misconduct is an offence . 

Life is a challenge

Life is a challenge . You have to accept it . There are severals ups and downs in life . Life is not all time smooth sailing . But at the end you have to achieve something , so that your life is dedicated to some novel mission . Society is built up by the people and society is for the people . You should contribute to your society according to your ability . You should be limited according to your ability . Accept the challenge according to your limit . Do not set a big goal which will be impossible for you career . I mean do not cross your limit . You should be bound by your duties . People will recognize you according to your position in the society . And you can set a right position according to your career in the society . Remember people will only approach to you when you are in the right track and you have the ability to lead some body else . This is something called  leadership quality . People will depend on you only when you take the right decision for their benefits .

For achieving something you may have to change your life style . Starting from your food habit , to your smoking habit, you may have to change even your dress senses .  You should be a complete package for a particular goal in your career . Your attitude  , your way of talking , your way of dressing , your mannerism , every thing you have to change . You have to be polished in that sense .

Career is a such a place where you have to prove yourself . Not only you will be best in given task , but also you should have  leadership quality , your ability to learn new things , innovative ideas , using of newest technology , updating with current affairs in your institutions, offices , helping others in their needs , competition is good , but that should not be turned into personal rivalry . These things you have to remember .

Sense of timing is also very important . Finishing task in a particular time set , attending meetings with appropriate time , coming into the office in a right time and leaving office in a right time , these things are also very important for a good career . You should be balanced in both your professional life and your personal life . You may have other activities but that does not mean you should minus some time from your office hours . Sense of timing is very important to build up a right and proper career .
